Week 8

This week is Maori Language Week.

We will be celebrating Te Reo within the studios and as a whole school. 

Each day we will meet in the gym and Te Ara Maia will lead a celebration that includes the presentation of mihi by learners and staff, a waiata and a phrase of the day. 

This will be followed by cross-school groups for the following activities;

Weaving, Poi Making, Rakau, Waiata, Myths and Legends as well as feelings, emotions and telling the time.

                  Waiata Group

                  Pasifika

Friday:        Grow Time

                 Playground Think Tank
